So talented!

I loved how she was enthusiastic, communicative, and reliable. She is super talented and was able to create my seemingly impossible vision to a reality! She designed a cake that merged my love of pineapples and my husband’s love of Manchester a United Soccer into one gorgeous wedding cake! It was definitely an unforgettable wedding cake!

Best Wedding Desserts Ever

Working with Susan and her amazing company, Artful Sweets, was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day! She is easily the most thoughtful baker you’re going to interview to make your wedding cake and desserts - or any other confection for any event! She was open ears to all of our requests and used her years of expertise to fine tune the details, like proper quantities for our guest counts and flavor profiles. She will host you for a private tasting to try flavors and dessert options - we couldn’t get over the flavors she was able to capture in her cakes and butter creams! We also had cakesicles, tiramisu cups, mini cupcakes, lemon bars, and macarons to round our dessert table. All were SO GOOD. A huge thing that stood out to me was her care for food safety and making all flowers by hand so as not to risk contamination from fertilizer or pesticides - the best part is you would never know these edible florals weren’t real!!! Susan also helped us to figure out what serving platters would be best and she donated her own cupcake tower to add some dimension to our display! And the cherry on top is she made the most adorable fondant models of our two dog’s mischievously getting into our cake, which we all loved! Susan and her sweet husband also took the time to deliver the cake later in the evening so the butter cream on our cake didn’t melt in the late afternoon sun - this was incredible customer service that saved us a lot of stress about logistics! I can’t say it enough, these desserts aren’t your ordinary wedding desserts, they’re HEAVENLY, and you’re missing out if you don’t hire Susan and Artful Sweets for your event! Thank you, Susan!

Susan is incredible!

As a wedding planner, Susan was an absolute dream to work with. Her communication and attention to detail made the process of delivering a wedding cake absolutely seamless. She was incredibly prepared and quick to assemble the cake. Susan saw the Bride and Groom on her way out and they insisted on hugging her and speaking with her for a few moments. The cake itself was beautiful and tasted delicious, it's not hard to see the passion she has for her profession! If it were up to us, we would work with Susan at every wedding!
